This Copyright Policy describes Selam Ride Uganda's intellectual property rights and our process for handling copyright infringement claims.

1. Our Intellectual Property

The Selam Ride name, logo, brand identity, website content, mobile applications, software, graphics, design elements, and all related intellectual property are owned by Selam Ride Uganda and are protected by Ugandan and international copyright and trademark laws.

2. Restrictions on Use

Without our express written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute our content for commercial purposes
  • Modify, translate, or create derivative works from our materials
  • Use our logo or brand identity in any context not expressly authorised
  • Use our trademark in domain names, social media handles, or business names
  • Claim ownership of any of our intellectual property

3. Open Source

Portions of our technology may incorporate open-source software licensed under various open-source licences. Applicable notices and licence terms are available upon request.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyright has been infringed on our Platform, please send a written notice to info.selamrideuganda@gmail.com containing:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Description of the copyrighted work
  • URL or location of the infringing content
  • A statement that your claim is made in good faith
  • Your signature (physical or electronic)

5. Response to Infringement Notices

We will investigate all valid notices and take appropriate action, which may include removal of infringing content within 5 business days.
